The key characteristics of STM UK TF Brake Motors are:
Potential for separate brake feeding (recommended for two speed motors or when an inverter is in operation).
TF Brake Motors braking action is effective in both directions of rotation without axial shaft movement; and the air gap is easily adjusted when the brake is assembled.
STM UK standard three phase Brake Motors feature AC brakes (DC brakes are available – contact us for details).
For protection and insulation our Brake Motors carry class F insulation and IP54 protection (other IP ratings are available upon request – contact the STM UK technical team).
