This motor is widely used in safety critical applications where customers require a back up to the initial brake.  In order to guarantee better safety we can supply a motor with a secondary DC negative action brake on the TF/DF range of Brake Motors, this in turn will double the braking torque thus ensuring a high stopping accuracy and a high level of safety in case of accidental interruption. These Double Brake Motors are available in frame sizes 63-200 and on excellent lead times.
