Industrial Gearbox manufacturing at STM utilises only high quality materials and modern design. This ensures that our Worm Gearbox offers optimum reliability and durability.
The STM Worm Gearbox features housings, fixtures and feet made from SG-AISi UNI 1706. Steel Worm shafts are casehardened, hardened and ground and the thread grinding is carried out with ZI-Profile.
This gives the gearbox more enhanced contact between the toothed surfaces, reduces noise and maximises gearbox performance.
STM Worm Gearboxes also feature a G20 cast iron hub upon which a GcuSn12 UN17013 bronze casting is fitted. Taper roller bearing or radial ball bearings enhance longevity of the STM Worm Gearbox.
Maintenance is straightforward with easy motor assembly and disassembly – with IEC flange and shaft input as standard.
