With new legislation coming into force in 2011 regarding the manufacture and use of Electric Motors we have put together an overview of the law, your responsibility in relation to it and when it will come into force, just follow this link to find out more about IE2 Electric Motors.

Here at STM UK we have been keeping ourselves busy in the last few weeks of 2010 preparing for the New Year. During a meeting with one of our favourite motor suppliers – MT Motori – a few months back we spent quite a while discussing IE2 Motors and when they will be available. Well, they are available right now so we have taken the opportunity to get a little bit ahead of the new legislation by getting some IE2 Motors into stock so that you, our valued customer (or potential customer), have the option from the turn of the year. If you want IE2 Motors we now have them, from 0.75kw up to 2.2kw with powers over 4kw arriving in the New Year.

Don’t forget that STM UK also hold extensive stock of standard IE1 Motors, Brake Motors, Motors with Forced Cooling (force vent), DC Motors and that is not including our fantastic gearbox range which is – after all – what we are famous for!!
