Increased Motor Stocks

AC Electric Motors

Looking ahead to the introduction of the new legislation regarding the manufacture and use of AC Electric Motors we have made the decision to increase our stocks of these motors,  click here to read about the new legislation.  At this time we also decided that we should increase our motor stocks in general and in particular the high quality, Italian manufactured electric motors of MT Motori.

Our stocks now include 2 and 4 pole IE2 Motors (TN), AC and DC Brake Motors (TF + TFP), Forced Ventilation Motors (TN SV) and Single Phase Motors (MN).

2 + 4 Pole IE2 Motors

In the picture you can see the nameplate data from one if the standard MT Motori Motors which we are stocking, as you can see these motors are IE2 Certified and also come with Zone 2and 22 Atex protection as standard.  All motors are manufactured with high quality bearings and to the very highest of quality standards.  With the market seeming to take a swing back towards quality as oppose to only price - which seems to have been the case for the last few years - STM UK are ready to embrace this change of mentality.  As anyone with an interest in Philosophy will know, a man named John Ruskin once said....

“There is hardly anything in the World that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people that consider price only are that man's lawful prey” John Ruskin - English Philosopher (1819-1900)

Brake Motors

We have also increased our stocks of Braked Motors; we now have Brake Motors in stock up to 4kw with AC Brake or DC Brake and we also have Double Braked Motors available for those applications where safety is paramount.  In the picture you can see a TFP Brake Motor with AC Brake.......on the shelf and ready to go.

Force Vent Motors

Force Vent Motors – sometimes referred to as Servo-ventilated Motors – are required where the speed of the motor is turned down via an inverter.  All Electric Motors from STM UK are rated for S1 Duty; however once you reduce the motor speed you also reduce the speed of the fan which can lead to the motor overheating.  A Force Vent Motor has a separately fed fan so that no matter how slow the motor is running the fan keeps going at the top speed allowing air to pass over the Motor and provide cooling.

So remember, if you have enquiries for and AC Electric Motors, Industrial Gearboxes or Geared Motors we’re here to help?

So what are you waiting for?  Give us a call today and see what STM UK can do for you.

We look forward to speaking with you soon
