STM UK is proud to offer this Helical In-line Gearbox range.
The AM – Helical Inline Gearbox range is stored in component form for rapid and flexible delivery and features single, double or triple reduction making for an extensive speed range.
The AM Helical Gearbox range can be foot or flange mounted with a choice of shaft sizes; all boxes accept standard IEC flange and shaft motors. From 0.04kw to 150kw, the AM – Helical Inline Gearbox range is designed to stand the tests of time and usage.
STM has used a monolithic structure for rigidity in this Helical Gearbox design – ideal for applications encountering heavy loads.
Housings for this STM Helical Gearbox range are manufactured in engineering cast iron G20 UNI 5007. However sizes 25, 32, 35, 40, 45 and 50/1 use aluminium SG AISi UNI 1706.
This range of Industrial Gearboxes are also available with an input shaft in which case the shaft is constructed from casehardened and tempered steel 16 CrNi4 UNI 7846 or hardened and tempered steel 39 NiCrMo3 UNI EN 10083 to attain premium performance from our Helical Gearboxes.
The material of choice for gears is 18NiCrMo5 UNI 7846 – previously casehardened and tempered steel ground for minimal noise when weight bearing.
